Animated Short of the Day: The Utrecht School of Arts students who brought you the Team Fortress 2-inspired, PB&J-fueled animated short “Mac ‘n’ Cheese” have uploaded another gorgeously animated school project to Vimeo.

The steampunkish tale of “Consurgo” (To Arise) starts innocently enough with a girl and her ball, but, as many of these sorts of stories so often do, it ends up being less about the girl and her ball, and more about a steam-powered monster who roams the cobblestone streets collecting body parts.
